Great summer reading!

Hey there action-adventure enthusiasts. The Damocles Agenda, by well-known thriller novelist and Braveship Books shipmate Jeff Edwards just launched. Take a peek at the trailer below. Wow! With everything that has happened up on the International Space Station, this thriller is incredibly timely. Intricate research, great character development, and a strong story-line make The Damocles Agenda a must-read for this summer. It’s available on Amazon.

Results of the draw from the book signing at Indigo bookstore in Barrhaven on November 2, 2019!

The turnout at the book signing on Saturday was awesome. This was a most enjoyable group to speak with about adventure writing, travel, and novel writing. Thank you to all who attended!

The winning ballot for the Name the Next Villain Contest was pulled by a little girl who visited the table. The winning entry came from Chris Grimes, who recommended that a future villain be a woman named “Sara Roy”. Does that mean that readers may meet a dangerous femme fatale in the future? Thank you, Chris, for your suggestion. Here’s a snap of the gift bag that is coming Chris’s way…

Thank you to everyone who came out to launch The Emerald Tablet and participate in the fund-raiser for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)! The book-signing at Indigo in Barrhaven was a lot of fun and our contributions are welcomed by the CHEO Foundation.

Patti Dalby is the winner of the "Name the Villain for the Sequel" contest! With eyes closed, Patti's name was pulled from the ballot box.

Patti's suggestion for the name of a villain in the sequel to The Emerald Tablet, is "Quentin". It's an ideal name for a bad guy. In the past it as been associated with someone who has a powerful personality, is aggressive and resents authority. Just think of Quentin Tarantino's Oscar winning movies that are violent, creative and tough. Besides, California's San Quentin prison has been home to notorious criminals from Black Bart to Charles Manson.

I really appreciate everyone's support at the event. To those who purchased on-line at Amazon.ca when their Saturday was already booked, merci beaucoup.

Thank you all for helping launch The Emerald Tablet!
